BRAV-7123 Empowers Home Humanoid Robots, Shaping in the Future of Smart Living
With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), humanoid robots for home use are steadily moving from science fiction into reality. These robots demand not only powerful computing performance to handle complex AI algorithms, but also a wide range of interfaces to connect with diverse sensors and actuators. At the same time, they must comply with the stringent requirements for stability and safety in household environments. How to deliver efficient and reliable hardware support for such robots has become an urgent challenge for the industry.
Customer Application Requirements
A well-known humanoid robot manufacturer faced the following challenges when developing a new generation of humanoid robots:
✅ High-Performance Computing Requirements: The robots need to process vision, voice, and multimodal data in real time, demanding extremely high computing power.
✅ Multi-Functional Interface Support: The robots need to connect to various peripherals such as cameras, microphones, and robotic arm controllers, while also supporting high-speed data transmission.
✅ Stable Power Supply and Thermal Management: The robots require a wide-voltage power input and efficient cooling solutions.
✅ Compactness and Durability: The hardware must be lightweight and compact, while ensuring industrial-grade reliability to withstand continuous operation.
JHCTECH Solutions
JHCTECH provides a comprehensive hardware solution based on the BRAV-7123 edge computing system to address the demanding requirements of home-use humanoid robots for high-performance computing, versatile expansion, stable operation, and compact design.
Powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module, the solution features a 6- or 8-core ARM CPU architecture combined with a high-performance GPU, delivering 70 to 157 TOPS of computing performance. This ensures seamless support for real-time processing of multi-camera visual data, voice interaction algorithms, and complex motion planning, delivering a smooth and natural user experience.
In terms of expansion, the BRAV-7123 offers exceptional flexibility. High-speed data backhaul is supported through dual Gigabit Ethernet ports; optional PCIeX4 adapters enable either four USB 3.0 or four GbE interfaces; and up to six USB 3.0 or Gigabit Ethernet ports allow easy integration of visual cameras, high-performance sensors, and other peripherals. Unique dual CAN FD and dual RS485 industrial buses provide low-latency communication for robotic arm servo drives, power batteries, and force sensors. In addition, the M.2 expansion slot supports 5G and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, enabling cloud collaboration and remote OTA upgrades.
The BRAV-7123 features an industrial-grade reliability design with a wide 9-36V DC input range and overvoltage, overcurrent, and reverse polarity protection. Its built-in fan, combined with a carefully designed active and passive cooling system, ensures stable operation in ambient temperatures from -20°C to 60°C. Shock-absorbing, non-slip feet protect the device from vibrations during robot movement. Its compact size (219.4*167.6*95mm) allows for seamless integration into the chest or back space of any robot.
In addition, the onboard 8GB/16GB LPDDR5 memory and NVMe SSD expansion capabilities provide ample space for edge-side big data caching. The HDMI and dual speaker ports support the development of human-computer interaction interfaces, and the SGCC enclosure effectively resists daily dust intrusion. These features combine to form a plug-and-play, ready-to-use intelligent computing platform, allowing customers to focus solely on upper-level algorithm development and rapidly iterate their products.
With its high performance, reliability, and flexible expansion, the BRAV-7123 stands out as an ideal computing platform for home-use humanoid robots. Looking ahead, JHCTECH will continue to advance in the field of edge computing, empowering more smart devices to enter and enrich households worldwide.
