NVIDIA Jetson Orin Platform Advantages

The NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform is a powerful AI computer platform with the advantages of high performance, multi-mode sensor support, energy efficiency and rich software support. It uses NVIDIA Ampere architecture GPU and Arm architecture CPU, with performance improved by 8 times compared with the previous generation, and supports multiple concurrent AI inference pipelines, providing a maximum computing power of 275 TOPS. At the same time, the platform can quickly connect to a variety of sensors, has high-speed interfaces, and achieves energy-saving and efficient computing through a new generation of deep learning and vision accelerators and fast memory bandwidth. Moreover, the Jetson Orin platform supports AI software and cloud-native workflows from other NVIDIA platforms, allowing enterprises to accelerate the development and deployment of autonomous machines and speed up time-to-market. Scenarios empower product innovation

In 2023, JHCTECH began comprehensive development of a series of products based on the NVIDIA platform, launching its first NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform product, the BRAV-7131.

As the BRAV-7131 revealed issues in scenario adaptation, performance, and functional redundancy during the application, JHCTECH quickly initiated new product R&D plans to meet diverse application needs. Based on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform, JHCTECH has introduced three new BRAV series edge computing MECs—BRAV-7120, BRAV-7121, and BRAV-7134—developed on the Jetson Orin Nano, Jetson Orin NX, and Jetson AGX Orin platforms. This marks the successful global deployment of JHCTECH’s product line on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform, significantly expanding the reach of JHCTECH’s offerings.

 

BRAV-7120/7121

BRAV-7120 is equipped with NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano module, 6 cores ARM CPU and high performance GPU, up to 20/40TOPS AI performance, on board 4/8G memory, with multichannel IO , DC 9-36V wide voltage power supply.

BRAV-7121 is equipped with NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8/16GB module, 6/8 cores ARM CPU and high performance GPU, up to 70/100TOPS AI performance, on board 8/16G memory, multichannel IO and clock synchronization, DC 9-36V wide voltage power supply.

 

BRAV-7134

BRAV-7134 is equipped with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32/64GB module, 8/12 cores ARM CPU and high performance GPU, up to 200/275TOPS AI performance, onboard 32/64G memory and 64G storage.Maximum support -30-80 temperature range, DC 9-36V wide voltage power supply.

All three models offer outstanding AI computing power, making them ideal for applications such as intelligent transportation (V2X or autonomous driving), intelligent logistics (AGV/AMR), machine vision, and artificial intelligence.

With flexible hardware expansion capability, BRAV-7120/7121 can optionally support expansion of 4*GMSL camera interfaces; BRAV-7134 can optionally support expansion of 4*GMSL camera interfaces and 6*switch Gigabit electrical ports, flexibly meeting user application needs.

 

Efficient Cooling & Wide Temperature Design

BRAV-7134 is capable of operating normally in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 80°C.

BRAV-7120/7121 are capable of operating normally in temperatures ranging from -20℃ to 60℃.

All components of the BRAV-7134 are selected based on their wide temperature rating, and during the PCB design, high-heat components are centrally arranged and heat dissipated. Additionally, the three-sided heat dissipation design of the enclosure effectively increases the cooling area, allowing heat to be evenly distributed to the surroundings through embedded copper tubes.
